U.S. Marshals Task Force Capture Hardeman County Violent Fugitive

The U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force in Jackson captured Edtavius Gray, 20, on warrants for Attempted First-Degree Murder and Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Dangerous Felony.

On March 6, 2023, deputies with the Hardeman County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) responded to a shooting near Hollywood Acres, which left the victim shot with non-life threating injuries. Allegedly, Gray, who left the scene prior to HCSO arrival, was involved in this shooting.

On May 24, 2023, arrest warrants were issued for Gray through Hardeman County General Sessions Court. The case was adopted by the U.S. Marshals Service.
On the morning of May 30, 2023, Marshals located Gray outside a business in Bolivar, Tennessee. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Hardeman County Jail.
