Video Game Corner Hosts Launch Party for the Release of Zelda
Video Game Corner is hosting a Game Launch Party for the release of “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” at its Corinth Gaming Center location on Thursday, May 11, 2023. The game is the latest release from the series that was created more than 15 years ago and has been engaging users ever since that time. Gamers everywhere are expectantly awaiting its release.
“Zelda is probably one of the longest running video game franchises,” said Austin Bell, owner of the Video Game Corner. “It has been going on since 1986 and last released a video in the series in 2017.”
Bell is a fan of the series and is just as excited as are many players of the game. He described the Zelda series as an adventure game that has appeal for gamers as young as nine years old to adults.
“Along with younger players, you have got people in their 50s and older who played it when the original one came out,” said Bell. “ It is probably going to be the best selling game this year.”
The launch party at the Corinth Gaming Center is in person from 10 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and will have Zelda themed and related door prizes being given away from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m.
“The game will be released at 12 a.m. EST (May 12) and Video Game Corner will be selling it at 11 p.m. CST,” said Bell.
