Vote for Your Favorite at the Festival of Trees

The Festival of Trees kicked off this week in Bolivar to raise support for the Hardeman County Carl Perkins Center. A total of 22 local businesses and government offices came together to decorate Christmas trees to raise funds for the center which supports families in preventing and dealing with child abuse.

Everyone is invited to come out and vote for their favorite tree. Votes are cast by making monetary cash donations, in any amount, and the tree that raises the most wins.

A free soup and sandwich lunch will be served on Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Donations will be accepted.

The Festival of Trees is located at the Bolivar Municipal Center, 211 North Washington Street, in Bolivar. Hours are Thursday and Friday, December 1 – 2, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
