End of Watch Ride Honoring Deputy Dale Wyman

Beyond the Call of Duty – End of Watch Ride to Remember will be riding to the Hardeman County Sheriff’s Department on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at 12 p.m. in honor of Hardeman County Sheriff’s Deputy Dale Wyman. The sheriff’s department is located at 505 South Main Street in Bolivar.

The End of Watch Ride to Remember is a group of motorcycle riders from the state of Washington escorting a 40-foot trailer across the country to honor fallen officers from the prior year.

Deputy Sheriff Dale Wyman succumbed to injuries that he sustained while responding to a vehicle crash on August 10, 2012.

His patrol car left the roadway and overturned in a ditch on Highway 100 near Lake Lajoie Road. The crash left Officer Wyman paralyzed from the chest down and he continued to receive constant medical care until succumbing to his injuries on October 6, 2021.

Deputy Wyman was a U.S. Army veteran.
