EMS Director Burnett Recognized as a Patriotic Employer
EMS Director Jamie Burnett and the Hardeman County Ambulance Service were recognized today for being a Patriotic Employer.
Mr. Terry Sanders, who is a volunteer with the Department of Defense – Employee Support of the Guard and Reserve, traveled to Hardeman County to present Burnett with the distinguished award. The award recognizes employers for contributing to National Security and protecting liberty and freedom by supporting employee participation in America’s National Guard and Reserve Force.
Mr. Burnett was nominated for the award by Hunter Clutter, an advanced EMT who is employed by Hardeman EMS and was deployed in service to our country.
Clutter shared, “Burnett has constantly made efforts to ensure that I am taken care of during times of active duty service obligations. He goes out of his way to ensure that I am supplied with ample pay, rest and support during times of my obligation. He serves as an example to other employers on how to properly show support to the National Guard and Reserves.”
Mr. Terry Sanders also shared with those in attendance about his own experiences, as a small business owner and a previous Commander of the National Guard unit in Jackson, on why and how important it is for businesses to support the Guard and Reserves.
