Master Gardener Interns Complete Steps Toward Certification Process

Fayette and Hardeman County Mast Gardener Interns

Master Gardener Interns recently completed the classroom portion of their certification process with a tour of the beautiful gardens at Lone Oaks 4-H Youth Development Center. The group was guided by Lane Drewery, who oversees the garden, and enjoyed learning more about the thoughtfully designed landscape. Fayette County interns also joined for the evening, making it a great opportunity to connect and share experiences.

Following the tour, interns met to continue planning their class project at the Grand Junction Library, a space they have adopted as part of their training. The group is developing plans for raised bed gardens and tree plantings, and we look forward to seeing their ideas come to life in the community.

Certificates were presented to recognize the completion of this important step in their journey—congratulations to all!

We look forward to the positive impact these interns will make in our communities.
