Rodgers Recognized for Outstanding Service and Leadership in 4-H Youth Development

Gary Rodgers was recently recognized for his outstanding service and leadership in 4-H Youth Development by receiving two prestigious awards: the American Spirit Award and the NAE4-HA Meritorious Service Award.

The American Spirit Award recognizes an individual who has created a positive Extension image through leadership and citizenship as it relates to the development of the 4-H program. Tennessee’s recipient is selected from former recipients of the Distinguished Service Award.

 

Rodgers also received the National Association of Extension 4-H Youth Development Professionals (NAE4-HA) Meritorious Service Award. This award recognizes members who have demonstrated innovative youth programming and leadership within the association at the state, regional, and national levels.

 

Through his dedication to Tennessee 4-H and Extension, Rodgers has positively impacted countless youth, families, and communities. His leadership and commitment continue to strengthen 4-H programming and provide valuable opportunities for young people across the state.

 These honors highlight Rodgers’ years of service, passion for youth development, and continued commitment to making a difference through Extension and 4-H.
