Hardeman County’s Rihanna Rivers Attends Young Scholars Academy
The University of Tennessee at Martin hosted its annual Young Scholars Academy June 7-13, 2026, an immersive residential program targeting high-achieving rising high school juniors and seniors who plan to pursue post-secondary education.
The program provides students with exposure to a college atmosphere through collaborative activities and leadership opportunities across various disciplines throughout the week.
Among the 30 students selected for this year’s program was Rihanna Rivers, of Hardeman County.
