Bolivar Middle School PTO Seeks Community Support for Teacher Lounge Project

The Bolivar Middle School PTO is asking businesses, organizations, and community members to help transform the school’s teacher lounge into a welcoming and comfortable space for educators.
According to the PTO, the project is designed to provide teachers with a place where they can relax and recharge during breaks. The organization says the current teacher lounge is in need of significant improvements and is seeking donations of new or gently used items, as well as monetary contributions, to furnish the space.
Items needed for the project include a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, ice maker, air fryer, dining table and chairs, comfortable couch or loveseat, area rug, lamps, wall art and decorations, storage cabinets, end tables, kitchen supplies, snacks, beverages, and other items that would help create a warm and inviting environment for teachers.
Businesses also have the opportunity to sponsor individual items, such as a refrigerator, couch, coffee maker, or microwave, or make a monetary donation of any amount. The PTO says every contribution, regardless of size, will directly support the educators who invest in the success of Bolivar Middle School students each day.
The PTO plans to recognize businesses and organizations that contribute to the project through its social media pages and other school appreciation efforts.
Those interested in sponsoring an item or making a donation can contact the Bolivar Middle School PTO by email at Bmspto@gmail.com or by phone at 731-203-8278.
The Bolivar Middle School PTO says it hopes the community will join the effort to create a space where teachers feel valued and appreciated for the lasting impact they make on the lives of local students.
