Hardeman County Arts Council Seeks Tech Volunteers for ‘Dear Evan Hansen’

The Hardeman County Arts Council is looking for tech-savvy volunteers to help behind the scenes with its upcoming production of Dear Evan Hansen.
Volunteers are needed to assist with show technology, including projection triggers and audio control. Projection cues will be run directly from a PC, while audio will be controlled through an iPad using an Allen & Heath CQ-20B system with eight microphones and music tracks.
Because timing plays an important role in live theatre, volunteers should be reliable and have strong attention to detail. The Arts Council will provide training on the equipment, although applicants who are already comfortable using technology and iPads may have an advantage.
The opportunity also provides a way for volunteers to give back to the community or earn community service hours while helping bring the production to the stage.
Rehearsals are scheduled for August 17, 18, 20, 22, 24 and 25. Performances are scheduled for August 27 through August 30 at 7 p.m., with an additional 2 p.m. performance on Sunday, August 30, 2026.
Those interested in joining the tech team may leave a comment or send a direct message to the Hardeman County Arts Council or contact Brandon Burvee at (731) 518-6404.
