Obituary: David Marshall
David Marshall, 84, of Memphis, passed from this life Saturday, September 5, 2026.
Chapel services were 10:30 am Sat., September 12, 2026, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Bolivar with burial in West Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Marshall is the husband of the late Rebecca Earline Wheeler Marshall whom he married on June 7, 1963 in Memphis.
He was a 1959 graduate of Middleton High School and worked at both J.I. Case Tractor Company and the Armor meat packing facility before he retired. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and travel, but the time he spent with his family was the most enjoyable to him.
Mr. Marshall is survive by his daughter, Angela Jennings and his son, Randy Marshall (Kathleen); five grandchildren, and five great- grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Earline Marshall; parents, William Carl Marshall and Cratie Maxwell Marshall; brother, Carl Marshall Jr.; and sisters, Annie Mae McAlpin and Betty Robinson.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to The Walk To End Alzheimer’s.
