From the Kitchen to a Business: Food Entrepreneurship Workshop Set for Bolivar
The Hardeman County Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with The CO, will host an upcoming workshop designed to help aspiring food entrepreneurs turn their ideas into successful businesses.
“Food Business 101: From Recipe to Revenue” will be held Tuesday, September 29, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hardeman County Chamber of Commerce, located at 112 S. Main Street in Bolivar.
The workshop will be led by food entrepreneur and business coach Lisa Brown Tucker, who will share information and strategies for starting and growing a food-based business.
Participants will learn how to take a food idea and develop it into a legitimate business, including information about business planning, licensing and legal requirements. The workshop will also cover pricing, startup costs and finances.
Another focus of the session will be developing a business model designed for long-term success. Attendees will gain strategies for scaling a food business profitably while gaining a better understanding of the steps involved in moving from a recipe or product idea to generating revenue.
Registration is now open for the workshop. Those interested in attending may register by clicking here.
