Bolivar Book Swap Returns to Bring Local Readers Together

Book lovers in Hardeman County will have an opportunity to refresh their bookshelves and connect with fellow readers as the Bolivar Book Swap returns to the Bolivar-Hardeman County Library on Friday, November 6, 2026.

The event will take place from noon until 2 p.m. at the library, located at 213 North Washington Street in Bolivar.

The book exchange offers a simple way for readers to trade books they have already enjoyed for something new. Participants are encouraged to bring as many books as they would like, receiving one ticket for each book they contribute. Tickets can then be exchanged for other books available at the event.

All genres are welcome, giving readers the chance to discover new authors, explore different interests, and share their favorite stories with others.

Any books remaining after the swap may be offered as donations to the Bolivar-Hardeman County Library.

Organizers ask that participants bring books in good condition, as damaged or moldy books will not be accepted.

Readers are welcome to stop by anytime between noon and 2 p.m. to participate in the exchange.

Whether looking for a new favorite novel or simply hoping to connect with other book enthusiasts, the Bolivar Book Swap offers an opportunity to share a love of reading with the community.
