Poker Porkers Take All at the Bolivar BBQ Blowout

There were 19 professional teams and eight backyard teams that battled it out for $25,000 in cash prizes and trophies at the 2nd annual Bolivar BBQ Blowout and Music Festival on Friday and Saturday, October 21 – 22, 2022, with Poker Porkers winning top place in all of the professional divisions.

Professional team Poker Porkers from Bartlett, Tennessee, was named the Grand Champion winner for the second year in a row.

“Congratulations to all of the 2022 Bolivar BBQ Blowout winners. This competition has a tremendously positive impact on our local economy. We appreciate all of the effort put into the competition from all of the teams, staff, and volunteers. This event is something that Bolivar can be extremely proud of, and we hope to see it get bigger each year,” said Mayor Julian McTizic. “I also want to take this time to thank all of the sponsors of this year’s event.
