Anthony (Tony) Russell Announces Candidacy for Road Supervisor, District 2

I am Anthony (Tony) Russell, and I am pleased to announce my candidacy for Hardeman County Road Supervisor, District 2. As a lifelong resident of Middleton and a graduate of Middleton High School (Class of 95), I possess a deep understanding of our community. My wife, Kelly, and I have been married for 26 years, and we have two adult children who are married. Professionally, I am the owner of Russell Landscaping & Tree Service, and I am a farmer. I have been an active member of Rocky Springs Baptist Church for nearly two decades. Through my occupation, I frequently travel the county’s roads, witnessing firsthand the poor condition of many southern roads. These conditions are unsafe, causes wear and tear on our vehicles, trailers, etc. and can lead to expensive repairs that most of us cannot afford. Furthermore, poor road conditions can deter potential residents and businesses from relocating to our county. Over the coming weeks, I intend to thoroughly assess the condition of every road in District 2, which includes Middleton, Pocahontas, Grand Junction, Saulsbury, and Hickory Valley. I will document my findings and submit them to the Road Superintendent, working diligently to ensure our roads are not only repaired but done correctly. While I can make no promises or guarantees regarding the outcomes, I commit to working tirelessly on behalf of District 2, being accessible to address concerns, and being a strong voice for improving road conditions in the southern part of the county.
If you have concerns, questions, or would like to discuss issues, please do not hesitate to contact me via private message, call, or text at (731) 609-1961.
I appreciate your consideration and support. Remember, voting is crucial to having your voice heard.
