Arrest Made in Middleton Night Club Shooting

An arrest has been made in a shooting incident that occurred at a night club in Middleton known as “Crisp Farm”.

Rodriquez McNeal (36) was arrested earlier this month and charged with three counts of attempted first degree murder and unlawful carrying or possessing of a weapon.

According to the Hardeman County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call of shots fired at 665 L Crisp Road, off Hebron Road, in Middleton on December 4, 2022. Once on the scene, deputies determined Rodriquez McNeal opened fire attempting to kill an individual. Two other individuals were struck by shots from McNeal’s gun as well. After the initial shot was fired, McNeal began to chase the first victim and fire shots. An armed security officer working for “Crisp Farm” shot McNeal to stop his actions. All three of McNeal’s shooting victims were treated at local emergency rooms and later released.

Rodriquez McNeal is currently out of custody on a $150,000 bond.

The law presumes newly charged defendants are innocent of the charges against them. This presumption remains with the defendant throughout every stage of the criminal process, and it is not overcome unless and until a judge or jury of their peers is convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant is guilty.
