Arts Council’s 2023/2024 Season Brings an Ogre, Belles, a Salesman, and a Funeral

The Hardeman County Arts Council (HCAC) is revving up for its 2023/2024 theatre season which opens September 2023 and marks 25 years of bringing theatre to the community. The new season includes ogres and singing fairytale characters, Christmas in Texas with sisters who would make even Buddy want to cancel Christmas, hot sauce and murder where everyone is a suspect, and a funeral that will have you laughing to death.

Theatre is what the HCAC has been known for over the years and last year, it added to its regular season Karaoke Night and a series of concerts. Karaoke Night is Scheduled on July 29, 2023, at the HCAC with other scheduled dates next season. Brian Lee Howell (as Elvis) will once again rock the HCAC in concert with a Tribute to Elvis, on Saturday, August 12, 2023.

The HCAC is funded entirely by donations from the community and grants it receives. You can support the HCAC by becoming a member or subscribing as a season ticket holder that comes with perks, one being reserved seating for the same day and seat(s) for all theatrical productions. Help the HCAC continue “bringing the best of the arts” to Hardeman County.

You may learn more about the two upcoming HCAC events, Karaoke Night and purchase tickets to a Tribute to Elvis.

HCAC Mission: The HCAC will provide artistic forums in a wide range of venues to educate, entertain and enrich the community. In so doing, amateur artists will be facilitated to develop their artistic talents to levels that satisfy their own artistic objectives and goals, as well as benefiting the public.
