Bolivar Youth Basketball Receive End of Season Trophies and Medals

The City of Bolivar Youth Basketball League closed out its U10 and under season on Saturday, March 2, 2024, with teams being recognized with trophies and medals for their participation.

The league has been going for more than 20 years and continues to offer athletic opportunities for children in elementary school through high school. The teams this year included six through 10 year old players.

“It’s offered to help improve the skills and mindset of our youth before they become teenagers, and to be around their peers for some competitive basketball. Many of the athletes will continue to play in middle school and eventually at one of the area high school,” said Demitrice Beauregard, Activities Instructor for the City of Bolivar.

Coach Beauregard was the Bolivar Middle School boys basketball coach for several years before becoming the activities instructor for the City of Bolivar. He is also currently on the Bolivar Central High School’s assistant coaching staff.

Below are the winning teams and other teams in the league. Not pictured is Bolivar Youth Basketball League team Buckets in the 9 – 10 year old division.
