City of Bolivar Holds April Council Meeting {video}
The City of Bolivar held its monthly City Council Meeting on Monday, April 13, 2026.
Present at roll call, were City Council members Michael Brown, Todd Lowe, Suzanne Rhea, Chris Williams, and Mayor Julian McTizic. Melvin Golden, Tommie Woods, Caroline Miller and Larry McKinnie were absent at roll call. Melvin Golden and Caroline Miller joined the meeting later.
During the meeting, Mayor McTizic read and presented a Tennessee State Senate resolution honoring the life of long-time firefighter, Emmett Bolyard, to his family and Mayor McTizic presented the city’s Blue and Green resolution to Jim Nuckolls, recognizing his story as an organ donor recipient and raising awareness about the life-saving impact of organ donation.
