HAA Pet of the Week: Meet Eunice

Eunice is a Terrier mix and special needs dog looking for a loving home. She is about six years old and weighs 14 pounds. Eunice is a sweetheart who loves to snuggle up on a lap. She has nerve damage to her spine, which prevents her from urinating on her own. Eunice needs her person to stimulate her multiple times a day in order to urinate. Her nerve damage also prevents her from using her back legs fully. Thankfully a kind donor donated a wheelchair for her! Eunice is so happy and proud when she is in there and can scoot herself around all over the place. She is sweet and loves to sit on the laps of volunteers. Eunice will make a great lap dog for the right person.

Hardeman Adoptable Animals (HAA)
315 Clifft Road, Bolivar, Tennessee 38008 or call (731) 234-4421.

All adoption donations include rabies shot, spay/neuter, and core vaccinations. The shelter does not have cats, so we typically do not know how the dogs are with cats. All breeds are guesses. If the dog is heartworm positive, the shelter will provide treatment once the dog is in your home. Please e-mail the HAA at haa.shelter@gmail.com for an application or stop by the shelter during open hours. Thank you for considering giving a rescue dog a new life!
