Hardeman County Schools is Hiring

The Hardeman County Schools is hiring for teachers and other positions.

The Hardeman County Schools students and teachers return to the classroom in August. If you ever thought about working for the local school district, now is the time to apply.

Some of the current openings include teachers, bus drivers, cafeteria workers, librarian, substitute teachers, teacher assistants, and more.

Degreed Positions

Professional Educators: All applicants must have a valid Tennessee teaching license with the appropriate endorsements to be fully certified and highly qualified for the grade and/or core subject for which they are applying.

Paraprofessionals: All applicants must be highly qualified, be a high school graduate and have passed the ParaPro exam, and hold an associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or have 48 hours of college credit.

Non-degreed Positions

Substitute Teachers: All applicants must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and attend one day of training or hold a bachelor’s degree or higher and attend one day of training. Those with a bachelors degree or higher must submit proof of degree.

Support Staff: All applicants must have a high school diploma, G.E.D. or applicable associate’s degree or baccalaureate degree and experience in the area for which they are applying for a job.
