Hardeman County Schools to Open 2024/2025 Pre-K Registration in April
Hardeman County parents with children who will be four years old on or before Thursday, August 15, 2024, may register their child for Pre-K starting Monday, April 15, 2024, for the 2024/2025 school year. { read article }

Councilman Chris Williams First Town Hall Meeting Provides Bolivar Citizens with City Updates

Bolivar Bulk Removal Pick Up Happening in April
The City of Bolivar will do bulk removal garbage pickup in April within the Bolivar city limits. Items you would normally take to the dump: furniture, mattresses, wood, etc. may be neatly placed on your curb to be picked up. { read article }

Bolivar Central High School’s Daniel Fletcher Receives Honorable Mention in TNSO Essay Contest
Daniel’s winning essay entitled “AI: The Double-Edged Sword of Today and Tomorrow” was chosen for Honorable Mention by the State Projects Committee of the Tennessee State Organization of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society, International from among 40 entries from students in grades 9-12 across the state of Tennessee. { read article }
HCAC Seeks Support to Raise Funds For Storage Building
Hardeman County Arts Council President Brandon Burvee shared about the condition of the current building at Western State where the theatre sets are stored. In previous years, the building was suitable, but over time has fallen into disrepair and is no longer an option for safely preserving the set pieces in between productions. { read article }
