Hardeman’s Got Talent Contest: Got What it Takes? {video}

Hardeman Countians, it is time to exercise your vocal cords, dust off those tap shoes, or just come out and show the talent you got for the Hardeman’s Got Talent contest. The Hardeman County Arts Council (HCAC) contest, which is in its fifth year, will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the Arts Center.

The HCAC first held the Hardeman’s Got Talent competition in 2019. It picked up again in 2021, and the talent it has brought to the HCAC stage since the beginning has been amazing each year. In 2023, singer Megan King took first place.

In 2022, Magician and Illusionist Braden Foster went home the winner.

The HCAC is looking to crown the 2024 winner and invites Hardeman County residents to register to compete. Talent can be singers, musicians, comedians, jugglers, poets, mimes . . . if it is a talent, the HCAC wants you to bring it to the stage.

ABOUT THE CONTEST

Hardeman’s Got Talent is open to all ages and any resident of Hardeman County. Talent can be singers, musicians, comedians, jugglers, poets, mimes . . . if it is a talent, the HCAC wants you to bring it to the stage.

Cash prizes, 1st Place – $300, 2nd Place – $200, and 3rd Place – $100, will be awarded to the top three winners!

RULES AND REGULATIONS

How to Enter

The entry fee is $25 and is limited to the first 30 paid entries. You may register now.

If yours is a group of two or more people, only one registration is required.

Previous 1st Place winners cannot compete in the same talent category for three (3) years.

Contestant Requirements

A contestant must be a verified resident of Hardeman County, Tennessee. They are responsible for providing their own music/materials/instruments. All contestants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

If you have media files you want to use for your talent, please send them to arts@hcactn.org.

Contestants must arrive one hour prior to the contest on November 9, 2024, to be placed in a lineup.

Prohibited

All acts must be family friendly. Explicit language is prohibited and will disqualify a contestant.

The HCAC reserves the right to refuse entry to registrants who it cannot verify their address, or deemed not to be professional. The HCAC reserves the right to add to or take away from these rules and regulations if needed.
