Eleven contestants came out to compete in the annual Hardeman County Arts Council’s (HCAC) Hardeman’s Got Talent competition to show audience members why they should be chosen as the best talent in the county.

There were returning contestants and some new performers taking the HCAC stage for the first time. Brian Lee Howell, Hardeman County’s local Elvis impersonator, took the mic again as emcee bringing his engaging personality, occasional comedy, and of course some singing of Elvis songs.

Each year the competition is held, Hardeman County gets the opportunity to see the many talented people who live right here in its community. Contestants this year came from Bolivar, Hickory Valley, Middleton, and Whiteville. There was a dancer and singers, contestants from children to adults, and a good size audience that came out to support the contestants and enjoy their talent.

The three judges this year were Tim Moss, Tonya Perry, and Johnny Weems. They had the hard task of deciding who would take home first, second, and third place titles from the competition.
