December 29, 2025
Middleton High School basketball competes in the Peggy Bain Classic with the Tigers at 2:30 p.m. (against Hernando) and the Lady Tigers at 4 p.m. (against Colbert County). The games will be played at Alcorn Central Middle School {8 Co Road 254, Glen, Mississippi 38846}.
Auditions will be held for the Hardeman County Arts Council’s Shootout Saloon, a murder mystery dinner theatre production, at 6 p.m.

December 30, 2025

Dui check point will be conducted by the Whiteville Police Department.
The West Tennessee Healthcare Satellite Clinic will stop at the Tractor Supply Co. and Dollar Tree parking lot {1361 West Market Street, Bolivar, 38008} from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. It offers free primary care, behavioral health, and substance use treatment services. Walk-ins are accepted or you may call (731) 541-1600 to make an appointment.

January 1, 2026
Government offices and libraries are closed, and trash collection will be delayed in observance of New Years Day.

Set goals for 2026 during the Vision Board session at the Bolivar-Hardeman County Library {213 North Washington Street, Bolivar, 38008} from 1:30 pm.. to 2:30 p.m. All supplies will be provided. Register now to attend.
