Music on the Square takes place every Friday evening at 7 p.m., weather permitting, through October 14. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy a free family friendly concert behind the Hardeman County Courthouse in Bolivar. On July 15, Bryan Hayes and the Retrievers will be performing.
Elvis (rated PG-13) is showing on Friday, July 15, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, July 16, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Bolivar Academy of Cycling
Bolivar Academy of Cycling is holding its grand opening on Saturday, July 16, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with a Biking Against Bullying program. It will be held at 309 North Madison Street, Bolivar. There will be a youth safety class, bike games, free food, and giveaways. All children are invited to attend.
Pop Club at Bolivar Farmers Market
Children learn about a different produce item each month. The POP club includes fun crafts, food samples, and $5 in POP bucks for children to spend at the Farmers Market.
Shop for Books and Other School Items
The Homeschool Consignment Sale (HCS) will be open on Friday, July 15, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and on Saturday, July 16, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 112 West Lafayette Street in Bolivar (the white building next to the Bolivar Farmers Market). Shop gently used (and some new) curricula, books, and other educational resources for the new school year.
