Come on out to the Hardeman County Arts Council for another fun evening at Karaoke Night. No experience it required to sing. You just need the nerve and the desire to have some fun. All ages may “take the mike” and sing their favorite songs. They hope to see you there! Karaoke Night will take place on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 7 p.m. Admission is $5 at the door. The Hardeman County Carl Perkins Exchange Club for the Prevention of Child Abuse is hosting a Christmas in July event on Friday, July 28, 2023, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to kick-of the Festival of Trees event in December. {read more about it here}

The Hatchie River Area Youth Soccer league is having a work day on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the Middleton soccer field to get the field, equipment, and other gear ready and into shape for the 2023 season. It is an all hands on deck starting at 7 a.m. until this finish. They would love for the community to come out and lend a hand for as long as they can.

Music on the SquareThis Friday night, Bobby and Sue Bates open for the Early Roman Kings. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy a free, family-friendly concert behind the Hardeman County Courthouse in Bolivar on Friday evening at 7 p.m. In the event of rain, Music on the Square will move to the Farmers Market Pavilion. {see the full Music on the Square schedule here}

The Hardeman County Community Health Center will hold its annual Back to School Bash on Saturday, June 29 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Let’s celebrate going back to school! There will be snacks, drinks, games, a balloon artist, and a gaming truck. This event is free. Well child check-ups will be available and they will be giving away school supplies. The Hardeman County Community Health Center is located at 629 Nuckolls Road in Bolivar.

Sound of Freedom (PG-13) is showing at the historic Luez Theater! Showtimes are Friday, July 28, 2023, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. The box office opens one hour prior to showtime for ticket sales.
