HCAC Accepting Fairytale Themed Art Submissions for Upcoming Musical

Shrek The Musical JR. opens at the Hardeman County Arts Council (HCAC) on Friday, September 8, 2023, and the HCAC is looking for children across Hardeman County to help decorate its lobby by submitting fairytale themed artwork that will be displayed during the weekend production.

Art submissions should be on an 8 1/2″ x 11″ sheet of paper (do not frame or mount) and can use any medium (please no charcoal) of application. Submissions may be dropped off at the HCAC {1580 West Market Street, Bolivar, 38008} starting Monday, August 28, 2023, during box office hours. The HCAC box office hours will be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Submissions will be accepted through Thursday, September 7, 2023.

Shrek The Music JR. will be presented Friday and Saturday, September 8 – 9, 2023, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, September 10, 2023, at 2 p.m. Tickets are $12 each, reserved seating, and may be purchased online now. Call (731) 658-2787 for more information.
