HCAC Audition Notice: Dear Evan Hansen
The Hardeman County Arts Council (HCAC) is excited to announce that Dear Evan Hansen will be its first production of the 2026-2027 season.
They invite the community to join them for auditions for Dear Evan Hansen on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at The Timbers (500 W. Market Street, Bolivar – Old Chamber of Commerce)
You may use the following link to submit a virtual audition. www.tinyurl.com/dehvirtual The deadline to submit a virtual audition is Saturday, June 13 at 10 a.m.
Must be 18+ to audition.
NOTICE: This production of Dear Evan Hansen contains themes of mental health, anxiety, grief, social isolation, and discussions of suicide that some audience members may find sensitive.
Production dates will be August 28-30, 2026.
ABOUT DEAR EVAN HANSEN: Dear Evan Hansen tells the story of a socially anxious high school student who longs to connect with those around him. After a misunderstanding spirals into something much bigger than he ever imagined, Evan finds himself navigating friendship, family, loss, and the search for where he belongs. Featuring a powerful contemporary score, this Tony Award-winning musical explores the impact of connection in the digital age.
