HCAC to Hold Auditions for Who Stole Santa’s Pants

UPDATED 10/18/22: A third audition date for Who Stole Santa’s Pants? has been added for Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 6 p.m.

After kicking off its 2022/2023 theatre season with Honky Tonk Angels, and recently the Hardeman’s Got Talent contest, the Hardeman County Arts Council (HCAC) is holding auditions this week for its December Christmas production of Who Stole Santa’s Pants. It sounds like a Christmas mystery is brewing over at the HCAC with Santa, who has lost his pants and cannot ride in the Christmas Parade unless he finds them. Santa is going to need help from the elves and your favorite Christmas characters to join in the hunt to find his pants.

The cast includes five to eight adults and 10 or more children, ages seven and older. The HCAC is community theatre and invites people from the community to come out and audition for Who Stole Santa’s Pants. This is an original production written by local playwright Monita Carlin.

Auditions will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 6 p.m., Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 10 a.m., and Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 6 p.m. (added on October 18) at the HCAC, 1580 West Market, Bolivar, Tennessee 38008. The production dates are Friday through Sunday, December 2 – 4, 2022. Call the HCAC at (731) 658-2787 for more information.
