Hardeman County Mayor Todd Pulse invites the community to welcome Kansas City Chiefs’ Trey Smith and the Southwest Human Resource Agency (SWHRA) as they Kick Off the Southwest HRA Summer Meal Program for Kids on Friday, April 19, 2024, at the Hardeman County Courthouse.

A native of Humboldt, Tennessee, Trey Smith #65 is a 2X Super Bowl Champion (LVII, LVIII), PFWA All-Rookie Team (2021), 2× First-team All-SEC (2019, 2020) and Second-team All-SEC (2017). He played high school football at Tennessee, USJ, before he was drafted by the Chiefs in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Smith will be visiting all eight counties in this Southwest Human Resource district with plans to stop at the Hardeman County Courthouse in Bolivar on Friday, April 19, from approximately 10:40 a.m. to 11:10 a.m.

The Summer Nutrition Programs (SUN) was established to ensure children continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session. Free meals, that meet Federal Nutrition guidelines, are provided to all children at approved SUN sites. The SUN operates during school vacations, primarily in the summer months from May to August.
