Local 4-H Delegate Trinity Watkins Shines at 2025 National 4-H Congress {video}

Trinity Watkins, a 4-H Tennessee Delegate, was one of several selected performers to open the 2025 National 4-H Congress, in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday, November 28, 2025. During the Welcome Assembly, Trinity sang “At Last” by Etta James, displaying a talent she has honed since she was five years old.
Not new to performing in front of an audience, Trinity helps lead the singing at the home school co-op she attends, sings at her great grandfathers church, and has competed in Hardeman’s Got Talent, placing second in 2023 (see video of Trinity performing) and again second place in 2024.
“While attending National Congress, I was given the opportunity to sing in front of 42 out of the 50 states in America. One highlight is that the whole Tennessee 4-H delegation were so supportive and encouraging,” said Trinity.
4-H is the largest youth development organization in the United States. It includes a network of 500,000 volunteers and 3,500 4-H professionals that provide caring and supportive mentoring to six million 4-H participants in fourth through twelfth grades. Trinity, who is homeschooled and a high school senior, has been a 4-H member since the fourth grade. She participates in the Hardeman County 4-H program with extension agent Gary Rodgers.
The National 4-H Congress, which is held annually in Atlanta, Georgia, opened on November 28, and will close on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
