MES Kindergarteners Participate in Festivities at BlueCross Healthy Place Grand Opening

Kindergarteners from Middleton Elementary School (MES) took a field trip to join in the grand opening festivities of the new BlueCross Healthy Place at Middleton City Park on Monday, August 15, 2022. A Hospital Wing helicopter made a grand entry landing before the ribbon cutting.

MES students were the first group of children to explore the new playground.

They also had the opportunity to see a Middleton fire truck.

Students received Middleton Police Department Junior Officer badges.

“We absolutely love the new park,” said Middleton Elementary School Principal Christy Graves. “We were so excited to be a part of the ribbon cutting today. Our students can’t wait to go back. We look forward to using it throughout the school year.”
