Obituary: Brad Young
Brad Young, a dedicated technician who spent 20 fulfilling years at Jack Morris Auto Glass, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born on January 25, 1974, in Los Angeles, California, to Brenda Gail Baker Young and Thomas L. Young. His family moved to this area in 1974 where he spent the majority of his life.
During his time at Jack Morris Auto Glass, Brad’s commitment to his work and his warm demeanor touched the lives of many. His skills as a technician were matched only by his kindness and willingness to help others.
Outside of work, Brad was known for his passion for collecting various items and was a member of the Church of Christ. His generosity and genuine nature left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Services will be held at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel in Bolivar on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 1 p.m. with a burial in the Middleton City Cemetery.
Brad Young is survived by his mother, Brenda Young of Drummonds, Tennessee; daughters, Sydnie Young and Tori Young of Collierville; sister, Angela Morgan of Drummonds, Tennessee; brother, Kevin Young and Jamie of Bartlett; uncle, Mickey Young of East Tennessee; along with three nieces and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas L. Young; paternal grandparents JC and Ruby Young; maternal grandparents Vernon Baker and Louise Hodum; and his uncle, Danny Young.
In loving memory of Brad Young, may his legacy of kindness and dedication continue to inspire all those who knew him. Memorial contributions in his name may be sent to the charity of the donor’s choice.
