Esta Warren, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Mercer, Tennessee, on July 26, 2026. Born on September 4, 1953, in Hardeman County, Tennessee, Esta lived seventy-two years guided by warmth, compassion, and steadfast devotion to her loved ones.
Throughout her life, Esta found joy in caring for others—both in her career and at home. She formerly worked for Lucerne Manufacturing, where her colleagues came to appreciate her gentle spirit and unwavering work ethic. Later, she devoted herself to her family as a housekeeper and homemaker, turning her house into a true home—a place of comfort, laughter, and enduring love. No matter the challenges that life brought, Esta’s nurturing heart and strength never wavered. She was the quiet force who held her family close and stood by them through every season.
Esta’s life was richly blessed with family, who now mourn her absence while cherishing the profound legacy she leaves behind. She is survived by her devoted husband, Don Warren, whose partnership and love with Esta formed the foundation of their family. Her children carry forward her lessons in kindness and resilience: daughter, Cindy Robinson and sons, Tim Robinson, Lee Robinson, and Dan Warren. They each remember her gentle encouragement and the special ways she celebrated their individual gifts. Esta’s surviving brother, Clarence Sparks, and sister, Rose Dorris, hold close the memories of shared childhood in Hardeman County—days filled with laughter and the unbreakable bond of siblings.
She was predeceased by her loving parents, Frank Sparks and Nadine Russell Sparks, as well as her dear sisters, Wanda Sparks, Sylvia Simmer, and Annette Alexander. Though they have gone before, their memory remained vivid in Esta’s heart and her stories.
Those who knew Esta remember her for her generosity, her unwavering faith in the goodness of others, and her ability to make everyone feel at home. Her hands were seldom idle; she poured her care into every meal, every kind note, every embrace. The warmth of her presence will be felt for years to come, woven into the lives of her family and the friends she made along the way.
A graveside service in loving memory of Esta Warren was held at Maple Springs Cemetery on Gilliand Road in Mercer, Tennessee, on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Bolivar were in charge of professional arrangements.
As we mourn the loss of Esta, we also celebrate the immense love she sowed into each of our lives. Her spirit endures in every act of kindness, every cherished memory, and in the hearts of all who knew her.
