Obituary: Keith Foote
Keith Foote was born September 30, 1956. He passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, December 28, 2023, after a lengthy illness. Keith lived his whole life in Toone, Tennessee. He graduated from Bolivar Central High School in 1974, and attended the University of Tennessee at Martin. Keith spent 44 years in banking. He started his career at Hardeman County Bank in 1978 and retired from Centennial Bank in 2022. Keith also served as a Hardeman County Commissioner and Toone City Councilman, Treasurer, and trustee for Rainey Cemetery. He was an avid hunter which included: deer, turkey, and duck.
Graveside services were at Rainey Cemetery near Toone on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at 3 p.m. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Bolivar were in charge of arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Moore Foote Jr.; mother, Faye Stewart Foote; and his late wife, Pam Ripperton Foote.
He leaves behind his wife, Sherry Wright Foote; son, Adam Foote; brother, Mark Foote (Tammy); Tara (Steve) Chamness; Nick Chamness; Chandler Timms; Ben, Jacob, and Ashlynn Wright. Keith also leaves behind many close friends.
