Todd Pulse Sworn in as Mayor of Hardeman County

Todd Pulse was sworn in as Mayor of Hardeman County on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at the Hardeman County Courthouse in Bolivar. It was a packed house with standing room only and a crowd overflowing into the hallway.

During his campaign, Pulse’s platform included items such as competitive salaries, employee incentive programs, education, youth programs, infrastructure development, open meetings, transparency, the litter program, and lawsuit resolution.

“I believe in Hardeman County. It is a great place to live, work, and raise a family. Our county is facing great possibilities and challenges in the next few years. It is only by working together that we can resolve these issues and prepare for economic growth and financial stability,” Pulse stated. “I believe the future is bright for Hardeman County.”

Pulse’s experience includes over 28 years in private business and managing over 200 investment properties. He received a Bachelor of Arts from the The University of Memphis with a Concentration in Public Administration / Political Science.

His community involvement includes serving as president of the Carl Perkins Advisory Board and treasurer for Build A Better Bolivar Program. Pulse has also been involved with the Hardeman County Chamber of Commerce, Hardeman County Arts Council, American Heart Association, and American
Cancer Society.
