Whiteville Wins $25,000 Dog Park Grant

The Town of Whiteville is a recipient of a $25,000 Dog Park Dash program grant.

The (Randy and Jenny) Boyd Foundation announced the 2022 grant winners of the Dog Park Dash program with the Town of Whiteville coming up as one of the recipients. Whiteville will receive a $25,000 grant to build a dog park in that town.

The goal of the Dog Park Dash program was to make Tennessee the most pet-friendly state in America with the building of 100 dog parks across the state. The recent announcement brings the program full circle with 100 dog parks already built or works in progress throughout the State of Tennessee.

The 2022 Boyd Foundation Tennessee Dog Park Dash winners from the three regions are:

West Tennessee
Jackson, Overton Park, Somerville, and Whiteville

East Tennessee
Dunlap, Farragut, Hixson, and Lenoir City

Middle Tennessee
Clarksville, Franklin, Goodlettsville, Lewis County/Hohenwald, Livingston, McEwen, and Waverly

The new dog park will be located near the Lee Ola Roberts Library.
