Area Fourth of July Celebrations 2026

Independence Day will be celebrated this year with hot dogs, hamburgers, barbecue, and a lot of fireworks. The following are where you can find the latter and more fun to celebrate the holiday. The list will be updated as we learn of other events. Please e-mail news@hatchiepress.com if you know of area events not listed that are scheduled.

The Town of Somerville 2026 Fireworks Show

The Town of Somerville will present a fireworks show on the front lawn of Fayette Ware High School {13470 Tennessee-59, Somerville}, on Thursday, June 25, 2026. Park Hill Billie’s takes the stage at 7 p.m. There will also be food trucks and family fun. Fireworks show begins at 9 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and friends for an evening of live music and a spectacular fireworks display!

The Town of Oakland 2026 Fireworks Show

The Town of Oakland presents 4th of July – America’s 250 Independence Celebration at West Junior High School { 13100 TN-194, Oakland, TN 38060 } on Saturday, June 27, 2026. The fun begins at 5 p.m. and the fireworks show is at 9 p.m. Come out and enjoy music, food, fireworks, and family fun.

Red, White & Bolivar Independence Day Celebration

The City of Bolivar invites residents and visitors from across the region to celebrate Independence Day at the annual Red, White & Bolivar Independence Day Celebration on Friday, July 3, 2026. The celebration will take place at Sand Beach Lake {575 East Market Street, Bolivar, 38008}, just east of downtown Bolivar. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the celebration kicks off at 7:30 p.m., and will feature fireworks, food trucks, and live music. The fireworks display is expected to begin at 9 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to use during the fireworks show. (Click here to read more about Red, White & Bolivar)

Grand Junction Community Picnic & Fireworks Celebration

Come celebrate Independence Day weekend with the Grand Junction community! Join your friends, family, and neighbors for an evening of fun, food, fellowship, and fireworks! Festivities begin on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 5:00 PM at the Grand Junction City Park (Walnut Street- Grand Junction, Tennessee) Compete for a $250 prize in the BBQ Competition.

Town of Hickory Valley Independence Day Celebration

The Town of Hickory Valley will celebrate Independence Day on Saturday, July 4, 2026, with hamburgers,hotdogs, drinks, chips, music and games at the Hickory Valley City Hall. The celebration starts at 12:00 noon and ends at 2:00 p.m.
