Clays for Kids Fundraiser Raises More Than $3,800 for Carl Perkins Center
The Hardeman County Exchange Club-Carl Perkins Center raised more than $3,800 during its Clays for Kids 2026 skeet shoot fundraiser held Saturday, August 15, at The Clays at Lone Oaks.
Participants gathered for a morning of competition while supporting the work of the Carl Perkins Center. Organizers said the event’s success was made possible through the generous support of sponsors and participants.
The Bank #1 took first place in the team competition. Team members were Charlie Hughes, Chuck Hughes, Frank Berta and Tommy Skelton.
The Bank #2 finished in second place with team members Jason Lindsey, Stacey “Moose” Swift, Greg Edgin and Brint Lindsey.
The UT Martin team earned third place. Team members were Jayce Clutter, Bo Anderson, Jackson Lewis and Baker Wilkerson.
Chuck Hughes was recognized as the Highest Scoring Individual of the event.
The Hardeman County Exchange Club-Carl Perkins Center thanked everyone who participated in the fundraiser as well as the sponsors whose support helped make the event possible.
“With the generous support of our sponsors and participants we raised over $3,800!” organizers announced following the event.
The Clays for Kids fundraiser is one of the ways the community comes together to support the Hardeman County Exchange Club-Carl Perkins Center and its work serving children and families.
The mission of the the Carl Perkins Center is to provide support to families in preventing and dealing with child abuse in West Tennessee and to help both parents and children meet the practical needs of preserving and improving the quality of family life.
