Parham Names Ben Davis as Chief Deputy of Hardeman County Sheriff’s Office
Hardeman County Sheriff-Elect Antonio Parham has announced that Whiteville Police Chief Ben Davis will serve as the new chief deputy of the Hardeman County Sheriff’s Office when Parham takes office.
Parham announced the appointment while thanking Hardeman County voters for placing their trust in him to serve as the county’s newly elected sheriff.
“I do not take this responsibility lightly, and I am ready to get to work for ALL of Hardeman County,” Parham stated.
Davis currently serves as chief of the Whiteville Police Department. Parham said Davis will bring leadership, experience and a commitment to public service to his new role with the Sheriff’s Office.
“Together, we are prepared to lead with integrity, accountability, transparency, and respect while working to build a Sheriff’s Office that our entire county can be proud of,” Parham stated.
The announcement marks one of Parham’s first major personnel decisions as he prepares to assume leadership of the Hardeman County Sheriff’s Office.
“A new chapter is beginning in Hardeman County,” Parham said. “It’s time to get to work!”
