Early Voting Begins July 17, But What’s on the Ballot?

Early voting for the Primary and General Election begins Friday, July 17, 2026, and runs through Saturday, August 1, 2026. Election Day is Thursday, August 6, 2026.
Primary elections will be held for Governor, U.S. Senate, U.S. House, Tennessee Senate (odd-numbered districts), Tennessee House, and Republican and Democratic State Executive Committees.
Hardeman County General elections will be held for Mayor, County Commissioners, Sheriff, Trustee, Circuit Court Clerk, County Clerk, Register of Deeds, Road Superintendent, Road Supervisor and some School Board seats.
Voters will also be asked to retain or replace some individuals in judicial positions.
A paper ballot is now printed out for each voter. The voter will make their selection using a blue or black ink pen and then deposit their ballot into a scanner, which will scan and record the votes.

Early voting for the Primary and General Election begins Friday, July 17, 2026, and runs through Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the Hardeman County Election Commission office, 227 Lucy Black Road, in Bolivar. Early voting hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Election Day voting is on Thursday, August 6, 2026 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. CST. Find your voting location, and call the Election Day Hotline with questions and to report fraud
