Hardeman County General Election Candidate Forum Set for July 13 at Luez Theater

Voters will have an opportunity to hear directly from candidates seeking local office during a Hardeman County General Election candidate debate and forum on Monday, July 13, 2026.
The event will begin at 7 p.m. at the Luez Theater in downtown Bolivar and is open to the public. All candidates on the ballot for the August 6 Hardeman County General Election have been invited to participate.
Candidates for Hardeman County mayor and sheriff will take part in head-to-head debates, allowing them to respond directly to their opponents. Candidates seeking other county offices will each be given two minutes to introduce themselves, discuss their qualifications, and address voters.
The forum is designed to give residents an opportunity to hear from candidates before casting their ballots in the upcoming election.
Voters may also watch a livestream of the candidate forum on the Hatchie Press YouTube channel or Facebook page or listen in live on WMOD 96.7 radio station.
Early voting for the August 6 General Election will take place from July 17 through August 1.
