Fayette Cares Celebrates Ribbon Cutting for Expanded Thrift Shop

Fayette Cares recently celebrated the ribbon cutting of its expanded thrift shop, marking an exciting new chapter during a milestone year as the organization celebrates 40 years of serving neighbors in need.
The expanded space offers shoppers a wide selection of quality clothing and accessories at a great value, while strengthening the mission-driven work that takes place far beyond the sales floor. Every purchase helps Fayette Cares provide emergency shelter, food assistance, domestic violence victim services, case management, and much more to create pathways to stability for families facing crisis.
This milestone was made possible through tremendous community generosity, vision, and hard work. Fayette Cares is grateful for the support of donors, volunteers, community partners, board members, staff, and countless shoppers who believe in creating a stronger community where every family has the opportunity to thrive.
Behind every item on the rack is a network of volunteers who collect donations from 24-hour drop boxes, sort donations, and present merchandise that can make a lasting impact.
Community members are invited to visit the shop, discover great bargains, and support a meaningful cause. Whether searching for everyday essentials, unique finds, or simply looking for a way to give back, every dollar is an investment in brighter futures.
