Hardeman County History Club Invites High School Students to First Meeting

The Hardeman County Juvenile Court is starting a Hardeman County History Club for high school students grades 9-12.  The purpose of the club is to provide an opportunity for those young people interested in the History of Hardeman County to learn more about it.  The first meeting will be on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at the Little Courthouse Museum, 215 E. Market Street, Bolivar, Tennessee.  The club will meet from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.  Mrs. Cissye Pierce will conduct a tour of the Little Courthouse and share historical facts.  Refreshments will be served.

Judge Harriet Thompson will offer four (4) hours of Community Service Work credit for any student who attends.  Community Service Work can be used towards the Tennessee Promise Scholarship or for Juvenile Court required hours.  Please attend to receive credit and for information regarding future meetings.
