Man Charged After Sending Inappropriate Picture to Minor
On March 26, 2026, Gustavo Hernandez Gomez, of Bolivar, was arrested and charged with Sexual Exploitation of a Minor after reportedly texting an inappropriate photo to a child.
According to the arrest report, police responded to a call regarding a 14 year old that had been sent a photo of male genitals from a Hispanic male. The child advised police that he had lunch at a Mexican restaurant and the waiter, who was identified as Gus, had asked for his phone number while checking out.
The child gave him the number thinking they were going to tell trivia jokes, however he began talking other things and then the suspect sent the child a photo of his genitals.
The suspect was located at his house and was charged with Sexual Exploitation of a Minor and was transported to the Hardeman County Jail where he was booked on a $40,000 bond. A court date was set for April 7, 2026.
The arrest report does not name the restaurant the suspect worked at.
