Small Shack and “Elvis” Set to Rock the Square Friday Night
Music on the Square will welcome two familiar Hardeman County acts to the stage as Small Shack and Elvis impersonator Brian Lee Howell bring an evening of live entertainment to downtown Bolivar on Friday, September 25, 2026.
Small Shack originated in Bolivar and has been performing together for more than 25 years. The band’s sound blends blues, Southern rock and American Soul, offering a mix of musical styles for those attending Music on the Square.
Also taking the stage will be Brian Lee Howell, a familiar performer throughout Hardeman County known for his tribute to Elvis Presley.
Howell has performed fulltime as an Elvis impersonator for the past 20 years, turning his passion for entertaining into performances across the country. While local audiences may have seen him perform once, twice or even several times, fans can expect a different show each time he takes the stage.
Music on the Square began its 2026 season on Friday, May 1, with Small Shack and continues each Friday evening, weather permitting, through Friday, October 16.
The free, family-friendly concerts are held behind the Hardeman County Courthouse in Bolivar beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday evenings. Those attending are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and enjoy an evening of live music in downtown Bolivar.
