STAR Inc. Announces Auditions for ‘It’s A Wonderful Life’
STAR Inc. is preparing to close out its 2026 season with a holiday classic, It’s A Wonderful Life, directed by Jeremiah Miller.
After a season featuring classics such as Harvey and Guys & Dolls, along with original productions including Broadway Nights: Behind The Scenes, STAR Inc. is inviting performers to audition for its upcoming Christmas production.
It’s A Wonderful Life follows George Bailey, a man who has given up his personal dreams to help others in his community. On Christmas Eve, George reaches a desperate point in his life, leading to the intervention of his guardian angel, Clarence Odbody. Clarence shows George the many lives he has touched and what the world would have been like if he had never existed.
Auditions will be held Saturday, September 12, at 4 p.m. and Sunday, September 13, at 2 p.m.
The audition will consist of a cold read from selected scenes from the script, and those auditioning do not need to prepare anything in advance. Anyone who has never worked with the director before is asked to bring a headshot and a short resume.

Performances of It’s A Wonderful Life are scheduled for Thursday, December 10, at 7 p.m.; Friday, December 11, at 7 p.m.; Saturday, December 12, at 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.; and Sunday, December 13, at 7 p.m.
Those auditioning must be available for all production dates in order to be cast. STAR Inc. also noted that excessive scheduling conflicts may affect casting decisions.
STAR Inc. is looking forward to welcoming performers to auditions as the organization prepares to bring its 2026 season to a close with the Christmas classic.
